Strategies, summit, Tech, Tech Goddess, visibility

What does visibility mean in terms of your online presence? When someone goes online and searches for something, you want them to be able to find you.

When your business is visible, your content is more likely to get shared. You will be the go-to resource when someone searches for answers to a problem.

So, the definition of visibility is your overall presence online.

Are you struggling to find visibility on the internet? If so, you are not alone.

The good news is there are some simple steps that anyone can take to boost their online visibility. Here are seven sure-fire tips that will allow you to shine through all clutter and reach out to potential clients successfully!

Create a website

Having a website is the bare minimum when it comes to online presence. Your stuff need’s a lovely home so you‘re not scattered around and clients can find all of your amazing offers and services in one branded, cosy place! Your website is a basic and it must also be quick to load and easy to navigate. Create a blog on your website

A great way to increase your visibility on the web is by starting a blog. A blog provides insights on specific topics, depending on your industry. This will allow you to have an ongoing conversation with visitors and potential clients about topics related to your business.

If you’re not into writing, you can do a vlog, or a podcast… Anything repetitive and consistent… Where you talk to your people at least once a week… You can batch create these or write them weekly… If you really want to do a blog but can’t write to save your life, you can use a copy-writer or an AI even…

And if you’re stuck with subjects… try using  https://answerthepublic.com/ to see what people are searching for in relation to your topics or industry!

Don’t forget that if it has already been written … it wasn’t by you … You have a unique take on anything… So it’s still valid and interesting!

If someone reads through your blogs, they’ll eventually find pages on your site filled with helpful information about your business.

Get active on social media

Another way to increase online visibility is by using social media. I’m not going to go in depth here because I’m creating various masterclasses and e-books on the subject very soon.

You can easily make connections and build relationships with potential clients through social media, but you need to understand that it takes time. There really is no way to make this happen overnight. You need to participate regularly for your business to be successful on these sites.

Spreading your efforts thinly across all social media platforms won’t work because your target audience may not be present on all of them. Instead, pick the ones that are most relevant to your business and focus on making connections there. In short, you’ll need to create a dedicated social media strategy if you want this to work for you, and find ways to schedule, so that you don’t spend all your time on social media.

Get testimonials and reviews from your customers

Another thing that can boost your online visibility is getting testimonials and reviews from people who have worked with you. Testimonials and reviews are great for showcasing what you bring to the table and show potential clients why they should work with you too.

Share those testimonials and reviews widely and generously, on your website and social media.

Use online ads and pay-per-click campaigns (or not?)

This is one of the classic online marketing strategies that you can use to increase your visibility online.

And I don’t recommend it to start with.

First it needs a financial investment, which you might not have at the moment.

Second, the algorithms and ad platforms are quite complicated to navigate and constantly evolving… So you might need to hire a specialist to help you, which means more financial investment… or an almost guaranteed failure… In any case, remember that you need a well-optimized website for this to work.

Create online videos

Videos are an excellent way to increase online visibility because it gives your business a human element. If you’re able to create engaging and informative (or fun and exciting!) video content, people will want to share them online with their friends who may be interested in what you have to offer too. This is why creating online videos can do wonders for your online presence.

The thing to keep in mind about online videos is that it has to be consistent. You can’t make one video and not create anymore because people will forget about you over time if they don’t see anything else from your company. This strategy works best when everything online is consistent across all platforms, including social media sites and blogs.

Offer free tools or resources online

One of the easiest ways to increase online presence is by providing free online tools or resources. Make these freebies known by talking about them on social media, your website and guest posts. And invite people to opt in to your email list in exchange for the freebies… of course!

Secret weapon: Become a speaker in an Online Global Summit

A slightly unclassic, original, stand out-of-the-crowd way to increase your visibility and your audience is to participate in an online Summit.

An online summit, or virtual summit, is like a conference one can attend from the comfort of their own home. A summit usually takes place over at least three days with each day bringing new speakers and guest experts to the audience.

As with any conference you may be interested in, online summits usually have a theme and are designed for a particular audience.

Being a speaker in a Summit means you get the visibility of all speakers combined. You get the benefit of reaching a wider audience because the more speakers there are for an online summit, the bigger reach you’ll have as a speaker. Plus, as a bonus, you’ll likely be introduced to an audience that is part of a complementary niche giving you a whole new group to market to.

Virtual summits can also be a great way for you to make money and not just as an affiliate for the summit’s VIP Pass. Most summits are free to attend while they are live, but will also sell a VIP Pass to give attendees lifetime access to the sessions.  As a speaker, you can also send people to your site. Most Summits will allow speakers to offer a free offer to attendees on their site.

Speaking helps you build authority as an expert in your niche, which will help to grow your site and whatever projects you are working on, including product launches. Plus, if someone trusts you to speak at a conference, then others likely will trust you too.

Summits help you grow your email list, because “your”  attendees will visit your site for your free offer. Even if some summit attendees don’t attend your session, they might visit your site just to learn more about you. Which gives you an opportunity to get them on your email list with smart opt-ins.

Finally, being part of a summit can help to introduce you to others in complementary niches. Which could lead to some great collaboration opportunities. Having something in common, like the summit, can make it easy to reach out and connect to other speakers that you admire and would love to work with.

And guess what…

I have such an opportunity just for you!
