The Dentist and the lessons learned…

So I woke up this morning and one of the first I read on Facebook is this small post by Citrine Gabriel Joyous: “Pay attention to your joints and teeth (bone health) today because Moon is in Capricorn” Then I remembered I had a dentist appointment today to deal with a cavity that appeared before my trip to Japan and that the dentist had just temporarily sealed, saying “we’ll have to deal with that when you come back”. Even though my dentist is the sweetest guy (I chose him for his kindness!), this did feel like a menace … When I did come back, I made an appointment …and waited… Read More

I’m in Japan… Seriously ???

So I’m in Japan. And my “almost coach” Joanna Hunter said… Have your tribe live vicariously through you…. take them to Japan with you … Post about your trip, your food, etc … So I decided I would. Here are a few beautiful photos of Japan … a magnificent though tiny Japanese garden … I loved walking around it … There was even a blossoming tree (might well have been a cherry tree!!) Beautiful isn’t it ? I am really impressed at how different things are over here … … So I’m a big fat liar, on top of being lazy and old ! These photos were taken on March… Read More

Forgive, forgive and when you’re done … forgive again…

So … as you may have read earlier on this blog, dear reader, I’ve spent the best part of 2017 forgiving. Forgiving what ? Well pretty much everything I could think of … Any wrongs that I felt had been done to me to you, dearest reader, to the whole wide world for that sake… Forgiving who ? Well again, pretty much anyone I could think of, from my parents (classic shrink stuff!) to yours, lovely reader, to the dishonest politicians (we have quite a nice bunch of them in France at this minute!) to the greedy bankers … Indeed I lately discovered (no, I know, I’m not the first… Read More

Life, Philosophy and the washing machine …

So I run a B&B. And I have 28 beds. So I wash a lot of sheets, and so forth. So washing, hanging, ironing is mostly an everyday job… One that I’m excellent at. One that I do NOT enjoy that much… one of my zones of excellence, not of genius ! I have a real love/hate relationship with my washing machine. We have been closed for winter since December 1st. We’re opening next Saturday. The sealer for the glazed panel of the washing machine door is leaking … I bought a new one, online, thinking I was going to replace it myself easily, according to a YouTube tutorial …… Read More

The not so straightforward path …

So I didn’t write last week … Because I was in Paris. I traveled for 7 hours (car and train). I was so lucky as to have a friend travel with me and she had access to a free flat in Paris. And then … On Thursday February 16th … I met Miranda Gray. THE Miranda Gray. Author of Red Moon, Optimized Woman and creator of the World Wide Wombblessing. And I became a certified Moon Mother. OH. MY. GODDESS. It’s been soooo long since I’ve wanted to do that. I read Miranda Gray’s books more than 10 years ago, and have participated to the World Wide Wombblessing for 5… Read More

My best ever personal development tool !

So I’ve been working quite a lot on myself these days … How to actually implement change of a massive type in my physical reality … I’ve read a lot of books (or rather listened to a lot of books, as I tend to do that while doing boring house chores …), I’ve listened to whole lot of conferences, courses, and so on … What is the ONE tool that everybody seems to advise? Forgiveness. Nice. Cool. OK. But…. How do you ACTUALLY do it ? How do you actually, really FORGIVE other people for what you’ve suffered, and mostly forgive yourself for … (fill in your own bank!) ?… Read More
