So I’m in Greece again.

Last time I was here … it was snowing   … I came with my family for a Christmas vacation at my mum’s. We had a great time although I did find that the snowing was a little over the top to create a holiday atmosphere … Athens in December is not really supposed to be snowy !

Anyway, let’s focus …

A freaking lot of stuff happened in between then … and now …

First … I took the Woman Unleashed Winter Retreat with Amber Kuileimailani Bonnici … In January I spend most of my free time taking EACH AND EVERY FREE COURSE on this retreat …I learned soooo much and it did change my life … I was so proud of my achievement of actually DOING the retreat in full, not only registering and wishfully thinking I was going to … I know, and Amber repeats it every time and she is right, that the aim of these retreats is NOT to DO IT ALL … but to to be sure that what you need is what you meet and do … BUT, for me, last winter, it was a question of achieving, of actually dedicating time, energy to my education, to my well-being, to my artistry, to ME.

And I did. I took the time. And it changed me. It opened new ways of thinking , new ways of being, new ways of feeling in my life. Since then, I’m taking the time to actually experiment new stuff, I’m dedicating time and energy to working on myself, to evolving…

Through Amber Kuileimailani Bonnici and this retreat, I “met” so many other lovely ladies who helped me define my wishes, my dreams, my strengths and weaknesses, my assets, my art, my interests, my money … The list is too long for this post… But without Amber Kuileimailani Bonnici … None of this would have really started … I had some vague plans for change in 2017, since it is the year that I turned 50 (as you may remember!) and I believed it called for reviewing my life and choices …

And now it’s six months already after that and I got the email a few days ago … The Woman Unleashed Summer Retreat is starting soon …. What ?? You don’t know the Woman Unleashed retreat ? Well… As soon as you finish reading this beautiful piece of blogging (if I say so myself!) rush and try it FOR FREE HERE … I know I will !!!

Already … So much in my life has changed … and so little …

Because the first thing I changed is that I have given myself the gift of time. I give myself a year, 2017… to assess my choices and dreams in life… and to decide which feel good, which feel aligned with the 50 year old me, and which don’t. So I declutter my interior and exterior spaces of dreams and choices and stuff that I don’t want anymore, that are not “me” anymore … And I take my time to do so…

And in this time, I also experiment.

I crash test my dreams and ideas … and I use my personal version of the Konmari method. For any particular idea, I try it and “gauge” the joy/abundance ratio … How much joy and pleasure and fun and happiness does this bring me, set off against how much abundance does it bring me … Because since joining Denise Duffield-Thomas’s Lucky Bitch Money Bootcamp, I have understood that my economy class relationship to money and abundance has always been “in the way” of my joy and happiness… And I definitely want to be spending my remaining years having as much joy and abundance as I can dream of … and at the same time!

So I’m in Greece again.

It’s almost summer, flowers are in bloom and the temperatures are oh so sweet !

And I can take time to assess the changes … which seem physically so minimal… and seen from the inside … so huge! I am not worrying all the time anymore … I feel happy. Even when sh*t hits the fan … And it has… and it does … And it will … But I can be happy THROUGH that …

I also tale some time (as in… tight now!) to feel the gratitude to those women on my path who were and are teachers and mentors and inspirations … even if they don’t know it. And I give thanks. Leonie Dawson,  Amber Kuileimailani Bonnici, Denise Duffield-Thomas, Joanna Turner, Joanna Hunter, Laura Soer, Karina Ladet, Lindsay Weirich, Marisa Ortolan, Eve Fouquet, Annika Suoma Frey, Corin Grillo, Flora Bowley, JennieBellie … and so many others that the list would be too long.

THANK YOU, glorious Ladies.

And last, but not least, I thank YOU, dear reader, because in the process of change I’m using our weekly appointments to trace my evolution, to journal about my discoveries and feelings. And the “compulsory” aspect of that “rendez-vous” is oh so crucial to keep track … Thank you for witnessing…

I want to add one more person to this gratitude list … me. I thank myself for being bold and persistent enough to go through with change, which is always a demanding process. I am proud of myself.

Hoping to have inspired you, I send, as always, love, light and gratitude

Isaya
